All the Details on Selena Gomez’s £500,000 Engagement Ring
After a year of dating, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have decided to tie the knot, and Selena took to Instagram to share the good news (and show off the ring!). We just couldn't wait to see what type of ring the music producer gifted his musician/actress beau, and we certainly weren't disappointed!

Selena’s ring from Benny is simply beautiful! It features the ever popular solitaire design, with celebrities such as Hailey Bieber, Beyoncé and the Kardashians all opting for the classic, minimalist style. Selena’s ring features a central marquise diamond which appears to be of exceptional quality. The stone displays remarkable clarity and a clear white colour, as well as being expertly cut into a large marquise shape of approximately 8-9 carats, meaning it scores high across the board for the 4 Cs!
The marquise stone is known for its ability to elongate the wearer's hand, exuding a timeless elegance that has been adored for centuries since it was created in the 18th century for a mistress of King Louis XV! We just love that Benny chose a lesser known gemstone cut for his beloved, it perfectly represents their unique love and Selena’s personality and style.

The white diamond is set atop a slightly heavy band which features a full pavé, meaning there are white diamonds embedded in the metal. The slightly chunky band, as well as providing support for the sizeable diamond, also allows for larger pavé stones and lets them shine in all their glory!
