Sourcing
Gemstones
To offer you the largest and best selection of gemstones and diamonds, we source stones from all over the world.
Salt and pepper diamonds are predominantly cut in Surat, India, where expert gem cutters carefully cut these one-of-a-kind diamonds to showcase their stunning inclusions. We have suppliers in the UK and worldwide supplying lab grown diamonds, so that we can offer an abundance of unique shapes and colours to get your bespoke design ideas flowing!
We have sapphires originating from Australia, the US, Madagascar, Sri Lanka and so many other amazing locations, with an array of stunning hues available!
Casting &
Metals
Your bespoke pieces start their life as a CAD (computer aided design) model created by our in-house designer, and once approved by you, is cast in recycled metals by our UK casting house.
A 3D resin model is created, and using state of the art casting facilities, your bespoke designs are brought to life! Raw castings are sent to the Assay Office for quality assurance and are hallmarked with our maker’s mark, the assay office mark and a fineness mark.
We work closely with our suppliers and casting house to ensure they’re always looking for ways to improve and make the process more sustainable.
Setting, Polishing & Repairs
We use a number of talented craftspeople with decades of experience to ensure your pieces are treated with the utmost care and meet our exacting standards.
Once hallmarked, raw castings go back to the bench for stone setting and polishing - from channel set to micro-pavé, talons to bezel settings, the talented craftspeople tasked with creating your bespoke pieces can do it all.
We are always looking for new and improved practices and tech to make sure we’re ahead of the curve, alongside the decades long experience of our amazing jewellers.
THE FINISHING TOUCH
ENGRAVINGS
Laser engraved in house, each piece receives its 'Flinn' signature, in addition to your personalised engravings.
Available with every piece of fine jewellery, you can include a special date, note or even a small simple image.
WHO ARE OUR SUPPLIERS?
We pride ourselves on working with only the most ethically sound gemstone creators, miners and traders who we have built long standing relationships with. That’s why, in 2024, four of our team members went on a trip to Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and India to meet with our gemstone suppliers to ensure they aligned with our commitment to responsible gemstone trading. During this trip these team members visited mines and offices, and spent time with members of these companies at all levels to make sure every worker was treated fairly and each gemstone comes to us from only the most ethically sound origin.

We always aim to source our gemstones in the most eco friendly way possible, making sure gemstone mines aren’t too detrimental to the planet and opting for lab grown gemstones where possible.
