Why we designed a christmas chocolate collection

Our journey began when our cherished team member, Katie Hurst, revealed a charming tale from her time on a renowned street in Sheffield. This street, known for its annual transformation into a festive wonderland of Quality Street chocolates for charity, left an indelible mark on Katie. The camaraderie and charity work during the Christmas season became a cherished memory she longed to recreate in a meaningful way: “The camaraderie and charity work while decorating our homes like Quality Streets left a lasting impression. Since my relocation, I've been seeking ways to bring the same fun, festive feeling in a new way. Working with the Jessica Flinn team, we put our heads together and came up with a fun idea – a Christmas jewellery collection with delectable chocolate inspirations.”- Katie Hurst, E-Commerce Luxury Sales Consultant

Joined by the passionate and creative minds of the Jessica Flinn team, we embarked on a mission to infuse the magic of Christmas into our designs. Katie shared her enthusiasm for giving back by regularly volunteering at the S6 Foodbank and kindly arranged for the wider team to contribute to such a fantastic, and much needed cause. The team and wider community took the opportunity to leave anonymous donations in donation boxes provided in the Jessica Flinn offices, and six of our wonderful employees have volunteered at the S6 Foodbank, channelling their time and energy towards collecting essential resources. Katie's dedication to making a difference ignited a collective desire within our team to contribute to a fantastic and much-needed cause. 

Our CEO, Jessica Flinn-Allen, urges all of us to spread the love by contributing to our local food banks. She emphasised the profound impact that small acts of kindness can collectively achieve. Excitingly, there's more to look forward to – additional volunteering sessions are on the horizon throughout 2024, showcasing our ongoing commitment to supporting and uplifting our community.

Inspired by this spirit of philanthropy, we decided to channel our creative energy into a unique Christmas jewellery collection. And from this came The Exceptional Avenue collection, a celebration of joy, creativity, and the delightful spirit of the holiday season. Bright colours, unique designs, and a nod to the timeless debate about the best chocolate in the octagon-shaped purple box – this collection truly captures the essence of Christmas.
