Consultation & Concepts

Please fill out our contact form to arrange an appointment or select your appointment and book it using our booking system.

Our initial consultation normally lasts around an hour. We prefer working on a 1-2-1 basis in our studio but we can also talk by email, phone, Skype or facetime.

We talk our clients through lots of options such as metal types, gemstone options, settings and budgets.

We start sketching and come up with a concept or mock-up which communicates our design. Next we source stones and quote for the design.

Gemstones & Visuals

Next we source a selection of gemstones to suit your budget brief.

We use Ethical gemstone suppliers and can source high end large items, as well as small and unique pieces. We can source Salt & Pepper diamonds, grey and coloured diamonds too.

We often create a CAD model of your design. These are life-like models which we create on 3D software. The beauty of this method is that you can visualise your ring from every angle, before we have made it and make changes to anything you like.

Production & Manufacturing

Once you’ve approved the design and are happy with the cost we start the manufacturing process.

We have a jewellery workshop at our home on the edge of the peak district national park, our pieces are crafted here by Jessica and her husband Ollie.

We also use world famous workshops in Hatton Garden, London and the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham as well as local individual craftsmen.

When your ring is complete you can come and collect your ring and get on with your proposal! The complete bespoke process normally takes 4-8 weeks depending on complexity of the design.

Collection

All of our bespoke pieces come with a complimentary ring re-size, clean and polish. Our engagement ring customers have the benefit of discounts on their wedding rings and future jewellery purchases.

When your ring is ready to collect it will be in a branded Jessica Flinn box. With it is a folder which includes your valuation for insurance purposes. The folder also contains a copy of your sketches or mockups and CAD images.
